West African & Middle Eastern Rhythms Workshop

In this workshop we will work on Djembe & Darabuka Sound production, technique practice, improvisation, and some of the classical Rhythms from both different styles of drumming, We will work towards playing together as one and unified with the beat.

Mammad Also known as Monation the creator of the jinguligulation which is up to your interpretation is a performer, sound healer & percussion teacher. He comes from a background training many years in classical forms of percussion playing in different styles such as West African from regions of Mali, Guinea & Ghana , Middle Eastern Iranian Tombak & Darabuka which is played all through out middle east, and Brazilian Samba from rio de janeiro & Samba Reggae from Bahia. He has a unique music style which combines different styles of hand percussions, acoustic instruments & electronic instruments. With an intention to creating unique melodies that aim to reach to all people of the earth and beyond. It doesn’t matter where you come from or the colour of your skin we can all get together and be in harmony & bring forth that sacred element of the Music that brings us all to unity.
Also being active within Sound Therapy Mammad works Quartz Crystal singing bowls & The drums. Sound therapy helps participants to improve or maintain their physical, emotional and mental health & Wellbeing. It further, reduces fatigue and insomnia; purifies the human energy field, balances chakra and meridian networks.
