Sarah Smith Comes to PaganFest 2018

We are excited to give a warm welcome to London, Ontario’s singer/songwriter Sarah Smith! She will be playing PaganFest 2018 on Friday 20th @ 7:30pm. You wont want to miss her soulful rock/pop vocals and guitar, so bring your dancing shoes and a smile!

Sarah went from lead vocalist rock band ‘The Joys’ to a solo artist in 2012 with the release of her debut solo album Stronger Now. Her second solo album, titled The Journey, includes songs heard on CBC’s Cracked and the film Anatomy of a Love Seen. She is on tour full-time and Sarah performs 300 shows a year; mainly in Canada, the US, and throughout Europe. She is very experienced in the music industry and has been writing and performing music for a very long time. You will either see Sarah perform with just her voice and an acoustic guitar in hand or along with the band. Either way, her stage presence is amazing and she has lively energy. She has won multiple awards for her albums, music videos, and overall talent. She received Best Video and Pop/Rock Song at The Akademia Music Awards along with Fan Favourite at The JRMAs, Top-10 Album by The London Free Press, and many others. Sarah Smith is extremely hard working and an inspiration.

Sarah Smith continues to stay humble and says “it’s all about the music.”

“Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes there’s pain. Sometimes we make mistakes, but there are always things we can learn about ourselves and the world. It takes courage, but there are always reasons to have hope. Writing this record helped me get perspective, again, on how beautiful the world can be.” Sarah Smith on her new record ’11’, produced by Juno award winner Kevin Doyle.
