Krishna: Divine Joy.

Krishna: Divine JoyKrishna is usually regarded as the 8th incarnation of Vishnu. Krishna is the embodiment of love and divine joy. He destroys all pain and sin. He is the protector of sacred utterances and cows. He is an instigator of all forms of knowledge and was born to establish the religion of love.

Hindus identify Krishna as the teacher of the sacred scripture called the Bhagavad Gita. He is also the friend and mentor of prince Arjuna in the epic the Mahabharata. For his devotees, Krishna is a delight, full of playful pranks. He plays the flute to seduce and lead people on the path of “Bhakti Yoga”, which means attachment to God instead of attaching oneself to materialistic things.

Lord Krishna’s promise to humanity that he will manifest himself and descend to earth whenever dharma declines has sustained Hindu belief in the Supreme Being over thousands of years.

Healing with Krishna.

Krishna can be called in to assist in many different kinds of healing. In particular, many call to Krishna to heal their inner child. Krishna’s presence can heal you at the age when you experienced any emotional trauma, physical pain, mental pain, from this or a previous lifetime. This may assist one in letting go of hurtful memories, improving self-esteem and self-love. Because of Krishna’s playful and loving manner, this type of healing can be very efficient.

Krishna’s healing energies can help you feel love to a capacity you haven’t felt before. He can assist in improving your love of yourself, and others. This can help you have more meaningful friendships and improve relationships. Try placing a statue or figure of Krishna in your sacred space as a point of focus throughout your meditation. Imagine his presence around you at the time you wish to be healed. Use stones like Rose Quartz, Sunstone, or Moonstone to enhance feelings of self-love and acceptance within yourself during your healing sessions.

Krishna can also help you realize the value of experiences and emotions over material items. Ask for Krishna’s help in letting go of your dependence on your possessions. This will give you the freedom to gain more knowledge from the world around you and enjoy a simpler, more authentic existence.
