Medicinal Uses: The flowers of this plant contain 12 antiseptic compounds that are active against many microorganisms that cause not only respiratory problems but sore throat, flu and pneumonia.

It is used extensively to treat sore throats, colds, flu, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia.

Honeysuckle flower extracts are strongly active against several bacteria causing respiratory problems, including those that cause TB.

But beware the  berries are poisonous.

Magical Uses: The vines of the this plant may symbolically twined together to bind two lovers to ensure fidelity and desire for each other.

Create a wreath of the flowering vines to encircle a money-drawing candle to increase its effectiveness. Or burn it to support any money drawing spell.

Brought into a home will help ensure a good marriage for the people who live there.
