Handmade Meditation Mala

We would like to welcome Adam and Cara, they are a couple who specialize in making meditation Mala prayer beads.

We are excited to introduce them to you, as they will be joining us as vendors at seed fest this weekend!

For anyone who is unaware of what these beads are, prayer beads are a sacred device often used to help you keep count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra prostration. These beads have carried throughout centuries and have been utilized by many different cultures.

Feel free to visit their website here:

Meet Adam And Cara

“Hi Everyone!

We are Adam and Cara, from the 108 Mala Project!

To give you insight on some of our background and knowledge, we have spent the last 13 years in Asia. In that time we’ve fallen in love with Buddhist culture and its practices. We started making meditation jewellery 8 years ago, after a few long trips to Tibet and are still learning. Cara and I recently just moved back to Canada and have brought our love of Meditation and Yoga jewellery with us, in hopes to inspire the west. We mindfully source the stones and woods used, from farms dedicated to sustainability. We’re expert Mala knotters, Reiki Masters, and yoga and meditation enthusiasts. We’re passionate about Mala; making the world more mindful one Mala at a time.

Over the last five years, we’ve taken part in many different exhibitions from international events like surf contests, Farmers markets and Artisan markets in Asia, to Rodeos, and BBQ contests in Texas. We have explored many parts of the world and learned a lot from our experiences! Some of our customers include people such as David Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, Chris Rock and Antonio Banderas to name a few.

See you all this weekend. We are very excited to meet you all!”
