David Hickey is Coming to PaganFest 2018!

We are excited to welcome musician David Hickey to perform @ PaganFest 2018 on Saturday, July 21st @ 7:30 on the stage!

David Hickey is a unique performer Based in Ancaster, Ontario. He performs with 8-12 Paiste Planet, Symphonic and Sound Creation Gongs. Every Gong features a strong fundamental note tuned to represent a natural harmonic series based on the orbital properties of the Sun, the Earth, the Moon and the other planets. This Theory is based upon Pythagorean Cosmology.

His main musical inspirations are The Beatles Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Roger Waters, The Who, Jerry Garcia to name a few.

 

 

David’s usual set up includes 5-10 Quartz Crystal Bowls, 8-10 Paiste Planet and Symphonic Gongs and 2 Persian Santoors. Nothing is amplified, pre-recorded or rehearsed. Each set and performance is improvised, sonically pure and unique. We invite you to take a seat or lay down as close to the instruments as possible to get the greatest effect. Remember to bring a yoga mat, blanket and/or pillow.
